CTBA Calendar
The Calendar is starting to fill up with fun jams, workshops, radio shows, and live performances! Check it out! The calendar is public and those wishing to publicize a jam, performance, class, or radio show can post their events: See how the CTBA Public Calendar Works Here
Localized Jam Point People
We would like to place 3 people in the position to have more localized email lists for Western, Central, and Eastern CT
Western CT: Austin Scelzo – amscelz@amscelzo
Eastern CT: Cathy Day – cathyleeday@gmail.com
Central CT: Peter Faulkner – peterjfaulkner@gmail.com
YOUTH CORNER
If you’re a parent with kids who are pickers, just getting started, interested, or already playing, the CTBA has a Facebook Page for parents to connect. Also, contact Cathy Day to be added to the email list so you will be automatically informed of upcoming youth jams. Parents have been discussing getting our bluegrass kids together outside of the festival season, to learn, jam, make new friends. Cathy Day is organizing a monthly jam and social at her house in Hebron and needs to hear from you. Please take this 3 question survey to help her determine the best time. Her boys are ages 11 and 19, so she says any youth age is welcome, big or small!
Member BandsMember bands can and are already posting their events on CTBA’s calendar! Check out more at ctbluegrass.com/bands

Support CTBA
–Like the Facebook Page–Donate to CTBA
– Right now we are about -$250 under (See CTBA Budget) Any donations this week can go directly into creating an official associated email with the website and a workspace for volunteers to help spread word.
-Volunteer to write for CTBA-Volunteer as treasurer or Accountant for CTBA (This is not my strong suit!)
-Get your friends on this email list and share the website ctbluegrass.com
-Consider picking up a bumper sticker – this can be a great way to get word out!
Thank you, Austin, for creating this platform. Having recently moved from central Connecticut to very eastern NY ( close enough to consider myself western CT for musical purposes), I am so happy to have this resource to stay connected to the friends and jams I love.
