CTBA Family Jam and CTBA Meeting

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2022 AT 12 PM – 2 PM at the Canton Parks and Rec

40 Dyer Avenue

Canton, CT 06019
Bring your guitar, banjo, fiddle, bass, mandolin, or dobro… A snack to share if you want something specific (not required) but we’ll have some festive food and play some bluegrass music. The event we hope will introduce some families and more kids to bluegrass music in the area. Meet us in the Multi-purpose room.

The CTBA meeting will be in Room E, one hour before the jam which will be in the multipurpose room. Please join us for both! If you’re interested or already a part of the CTBA, we want to see you!

Hailing from Toronto, this Canadian band brings a refreshing mix of old and new, traditional and modern in one package.  From Frank Evan’s classic, dusty vocals, to John Hartford-inspired lyrical musings, it’s all buttressed by impeccable musicianship, and emotionally raw songwriting from the three core members. This is roots music without pretension, art powerful enough to cut through the fog of the past two years and chart a more hopeful course forward.
