Bluegrass, Country, and Roots Kids Perform “Country Roads” by John Denver
Podunk Bluegrass Festival has a kids program that brings folks from all over the state to jam together. We hope to bring more opportunities like this to kids throughout the year!

If you’re a parent with kids who are pickers, just getting started, interested, or already playing, the CTBA has a Facebook Page for parents to connect. Also, contact Cathy Day to be added to the email list so you will be automatically informed of upcoming youth jams.  Parents have been discussing getting our bluegrass kids together outside of the festival season, to learn, jam, make new friends.  Cathy Day is organizing a monthly jam and social at her house in Hebron and needs to hear from you. Please take this 3 question survey to help her determine the best time. Her boys are ages 11 and 19, so she says any youth age is welcome, big or small!

Spotlight on STAR Bluegrass Supporters

Thanks to Stephen Bacher of Sweetcake Mountain Bluegrass Band for generously donating his talents to CTBA. Stephen volunteered to gift a sandwich board and banner to CTBA – We will have it at all of our events going forward!

“A presentation of Tony playing music of all sorts, telling stories about his past, his banjos and the history of the instrument itself.”

Tony will appear live at the beginning of the streaming event and in select spots throughout the program relating stories and anecdotes. He will also participate in a live chat room alongside during the recording. He’ll conclude the concert before ushering those who would like to continue this experience into the VIP Room for a Question and Answer period which is limited to 30 participants.

Here’s a sample of what you’ll hear and see during Tony’s performance.
